Get a big fish whilst protecting the consumer would make great copy.(as well as doing their freakin jobs)Mention your thoughts to take it up with the ACCC and ask for the world, otherwise tell 'em to blow it out thier arses. Guarenteed the directors of the dealership will cave in as the finesare potentially astronomical.I have appeared before the ACCC as a witness and their powers are far more reachingthan the Police in terms of warrants etc. + They are kents to boot when the mood takes them. No objections from the defence.Get the big stick out and step into the farkers, what have you got to lose ?

I know passion can interfere with sound judgement and you're overly keen on this particular vehicle but the fact that they are trying to fck you over so obviously rings alarm bells. Posted 18/04/11 10:43 AM Share Posted 18/04/11 10:43 AM Mate, say you will be paying the agreed price or you walk. If they want to re-do a contract (because that's what they will have to do) then you wont sign it and go else where. Its sh*t like this that gives Ford a bad name. These things are bursting at the seams in holding yards. There is actually a 50 Ann T ute (sunburst) on ebay at the moment. You will probably find the $500 is their break even point and they have screwed up somewhere along the line. I say take it to them. Or ask them to take out the bluetooth to knock off that final $500.
