Don't bother flashing it back. If your trying to claim warranty work at least be honest. They built the car for 310kw if you push out that at the wheels something might break. Why should they fix it?

If your going in because your air con is sh*t it won't matter how modded it is as it doesn't affect air con.

They will know either way.

Mind you I have never had an issue with my dealer. My dealer has never given me grief about my tuning

Must be nice to have a dealer l ike that!

I had some mods done and I'm having some problems with my BOV and they said because I have flashed it, they won't cover it under warranty! even if its just a crappy BOV from ford, I have to get an aftermarket one!

wish my dealer was like yours :crybaby:

Each time the PCM is flashed it creates a log 1,2,3,4...etc. and if these flashes don’t match up with a ford genuine flashes and it’s certain proof an aftermarket flash tune.

Also as soon as there is any engine issue with the 4.0ltr T motor it’s almost an unwritten rule that ford Melbourne request the PCM to be taken out and sent down to them for further diagnostic. Ford Melbourne (engineers) has 10 times more visibility within the PCM then your local Ford dealer has.

Same goes for the ZF box if there’s a drama with it a ZF tech can tap into the ZF’s magnatronic (the ZF’s computer) and download and read applied torque I.e. did it at any time see 900 nm of torque come through it!

One thing to be very close with your Ford dealer locally but once you break something expensive and your have modifodied it and Melbourne get's involved then it's curtains I'm affraid.
