Cleaning posts will cause more problems for the informed customers. You can't please everyone, is it going to be us users (that donate) or a paying advertiser? Because we should be able to inform people about the turn around of products.

Only chat on here when I have something useful to contribute or I need help. You can see that from the number of posts I made since the date I joined. Given that I started the Thread I feel obliged to say something.Chris emailed me today and gave me an update. The products won't arrive in time but that's life. We all agree he is a good guy and his products are great. The issue is simply communication and expectations. Managing expectations is the key. People will wait for good products.I think it is worth remembering that independently of "the rapid business" Chris has been a very active and productive contributor on this forum and to XR6T enthusiasts generally. You can't knock him for being a passionate nice guy. But you can knock him for poor communication in his RECENT business dealings. Things are obviously going very well for him because he is so busy (which is great) but you have to keep a handle on the limits of the resources you have (staff) and if things aren't running smoothly then customers need to know early on so they don't get disappointed. I hope he sorts his sh*t out, because I'd hate to see a falling out between members of this Forum and him. He will be a loss to the forum if that were to occur. Especially when he says something has been sent out and it hasnt, or when he says he has refunded your money and it dosent show up, and then all of a sudden he tells you he has sent the money in another e-mail about 2 weeks later, basically admitting his lie.Its a little more than poor commuication, its when the owner of a company bullsh*ts to his customers. You dont tell a customer you have done something when you really havnt

Maybe Ive been far too busy to notice, as I don't have any where near the time I used to, for reading and participating in this forum, but it truly saddened me to read various negative posts from our moderating team, that I certainly didn't expect.I'd like anyone that has a problem with myself or my business to please call me, 0403 981831, so we can discuss their issues, new customer, old customer or if you've just been told something you don't agree with, just call, I'm happy to talk to anyone. My business started from a hobby I had back in 2006, I bought a BA XR6T and like most poeple on here, loved it like mad, and wanted to make it faster, and faster and faster.I started off changing intercooler systems around, trying different cores, pipes , intakes, you name it, I tried every variable I could think of to find what worked best for myself... along the way I posted pics and wrote up threads on what I had done and what results I was getting. To my supprise alot of guys were interested and asking loads of questions on what I had done, why I didnt buy product that was already available, and most supprisingly of all, could I do it for them.I started making a few intercooler systems, and learning about peoples expectations when they hand over large amounts of cash, from these sales I made great friends who are still goof friends now. My very first intercooler system sold is still on the same BA now, working perfectly and the owner is preparing to run 10s with it, and that is something I am very proud of. Over the 3 years of being in business I didnt really belive I could accually get this busy, with the first 2 years being nice and steady, I was able to keep up with the moderate demand, but in the last year or so its become so busy that I ended up making lame excuses for why orders and time frames havnt been met, rather than straight with patient customers. For that I am not proud of, nor planning on going down that road again, so I guess in a way I'm happy to see a thread come to this.I am proud of what I've been able to achieve in a few years, starting a business from zero money and making it profitable is very hard, and made extremely hard by this ultra competitive industry. Even though there is alot less money in it than poeple may think, I still love being part of it... as long as my business supports itself, my family, and pays the lease on my G6ET I'll be happy, and if I can make other like minded people happy with their cars, then that makes it all worth while.I have big plans for my business over the next few years, my main goal being increasing stock levels so we can get product out alot faster and always on time.As alot of you know, its a small business, on some items we keep low levels of stock, which means turn over is usualy fast, but with a huge bank roll behind us, I can't keep hundreds of each product on the shelf.Other products are imported in larger quantities, but still require locally made parts to complete the kit, this is often where I fall short, but the good thing is our suppliers and fabricators are excellent and always able to get parts to me, though they too get extremely busy, so it can throw things out.Part of my goal is to have completed intercooler kits, packed and ready to ship, but the hard part is keeping up with demand and getting in front, I will get there, its just taking alot of time and money, as does in expanding any business, especially in these financial times where sales are down, not just in this industry but most industries.I've got alot of new ideas and products to bring to our XR6T-F6 community, of which will see some new ideas and approaches to modifying our cars, but being so busy with work I havnt had the right amount of time to either post or continue developing, but I'll get there eventually.Well thank you for taking time to read this, and hopefully poeple can understand where I come from, it's by no means a cop out, just the best way I can think of, to give people some understanding.I'll be doing a FAQ thread in my sponsors section, and also will have another contact number people can use if the main one isnt getting through... unfortunatly I'm stuck with Vodafone, so voice mail comes up alot. Thanks guys, but please, if you need to address any issues just contact me direct, I wont have time to answer them on here.CheersChris
Weaponxr Donating Members 624 Member For: 13y 11m 4d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 05/05/11 02:37 PM Share Posted 05/05/11 02:37 PM Well that's a post I wasnt expecting...I am however happy that you have come to the bat and owned up to whats been going on with everything as there is and has been quite a few unhappy customers of late.I want to give you credit for what you have achieved in the short period of time, its a big acheivement. However as you have found out theres also risk involved where if for whatever reason you cant fulfil your customers needs, worse yet cant close a transaction with a customer, they arent going to be happy at all. I cant speak for everyone but I am pretty sure that no customer wants to purposely bring you down or talk bad about you or your company, they wouldnt have been a customer in the first place if they felt that way. If you are having issues keeping up with demand its not a bad thing but you should deal with it in a much better way, possibly developing a system for dealing with each customers transaction successfully. And I have to add that its better to be honest with a customer than to tell them something that isnt true, people arent stupid and can usually tell when someone is talking bs. They may not tell you straight out but when something dosent add up then it becomes obvious, worse more customers talk to other customers or potiental customers so its better if we are able to say good things rather than what has happened in this case.I do wish you luck though and I hope for yours and your businesses sake that customers condifence is restored and you continue to be successful.Adam
