What sway bars come on a bf xr6 turbo stock? Is 27mm a good improvement? or should I look for 30mm? Rear bar works good too. I'd recommend you go adjustable on both. Beware the stock front links though. Mine kept breaking until I converted to the heavy duty Whiteline bardies that you can cut to length. No dramas since using these bad boys. Definately replace the rear bar with the 23mm.If you are fortunate enough to have a real motor up front, a V8, then the 30mm is a must have. And I have never understood the need to have an adjustable bar? Seems to me to be added cost for no real purpose - but that's just my opinion.Never had a problem with links? If one bent or broke one I'd just grab another one from the wreckers for ten bucks. Guest XR09 Guests Posted 15/04/11 10:21 PM Share Posted 15/04/11 10:21 PM All depends on what spring rate you have or are using. FG's run a 30mm std on the front. Manufacturers, Ford/Holden/etc, develop a suspension package that the general community is comfortable with. The 30mm is standard on the FG, and about the same tortional ability that the standard BA BF front bar had, but the improvement on fitting a Whiteline 33mm bar to an FG is significant. My car handles great at the track.Don't fall into the trap of making all your suspension rock hard, you'll end up backwards, literally. You want the rear end to have a little give to transfer the weight around more, easier to get the power down.
