anyone have a set of fg f6 injectors they want to sell?

Just bought a s/hand set myself. I've since learnt that if they've been out of a car for a month or so, you need to rekit them. That will cost you around $28 - $35 per injector. For that you get new baskets, o rings, static clean and flow check.

Bottom line, don't pay anymore than $200 second hand or it aint worth it. That, or fit them within days after coming out of another car then you could get away without rekitting them. If you go this way, ask them to bag them in air tight bags (the sandwich ones will do) to stop them from drying out. New uninstalled ones aren't a problem as no fuel has been through them.

Time over I'd probably buy these as I've really only saved myself a bit over $100 once I rekit mine.

thanks for the heads up bomber :beerchug:

I wonder if theres much difference between the bosch ones in the link you posted and the f6 ones, I like the fact that their direct replacement without needing spacers. need to do some homework on them..

I would think no difference. The FG F6 'bosch' ones are part number 0280156385. I would send them a message and find out if it's the same. Given they're also 440cc and the same colour, I'd say identical. If so, I'd seriously consider them mate as genuine retail for $101.50 each and you've gotta quote an FPV VIN or they won't sell them to you. The best 'dodgy' deal I could do was $550 trade via a mechanic mate, so ended up going the s/hand ones. Like I said though, will only save me around $100 on the new ebay ones once rekitted, so not really worth it IMO - should have just bought these.

While were on topic of injectors...

I have nizpro drilled ones in my ba. I have noticed in my tune that they are scaled as 74lb and have the high and low slope input as the exact same number. High and low slope should always be different I thought?

Is this normal????
