I have a manual 6speed clunker and also considered coping with the financial loss for a smoother ride. 7k isn't a big loss, I mean as they say, once that new car is driven for the first time, the value has already dropped thousands. All I have done is simply justify the car. It's a ute = utility vehicle which does require to be robust (triple sync clunk clunk clunk) and withstand the elements. At the same time I get a sporty feel with the manual, launch control which I love, and most importantly, I can still drive the dog around and transport heavy loads without a care. All I'm saying is, justify it to your self. It doesn't matter what others think.... And in 5yrs you'll probably have another toy anyway ;-) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/74289-sams-ute-buildmods/page/2/#findComment-1101266 Share on other sites
