I have an 03 BA T which has been custom tuned. The car had been running ok until today. I was on the highway doing about 110 Km/h when I heard a loud bang from the back of the car. At first I thought something had fallen off. But the car kept running ok. When I took the exit about 1 to 2 km later and slowed the car a loud shudering or popping noise came from the back of the car. When I put my foot back down it went away. As soon as I slowed it was back again. I stopped and had a look underneath but could not find anything obviously leaking or hanging down. The car continued to do this the whole way home. Im going to take it to a mechanic as soon as I get a chance but was wondering if anyone might have an idea of what could be causing it. Thanks Edited 13/04/11 12:47 PM by bk284

He said it would be about 1200 to 1300 to repair. Does this sound like a good price as I have no idea.

(off the throttle)Adjustment came loose or something. (Just a guess)Is your mechanic going to rebuild the diff or just replace it?

Did yours do this as well? Edited 16/04/11 02:14 AM by Rockatansky
