No question, in fact I think the 18mth "notice" is questionable at law regardless of the previous opinion. Not that they cant do it, that's fine as a company has rights to do what it needs to, but the resolution offered to good-faith customers (tiny rebate on another purchase) based on consumer affair laws is/was completely inadequate IMO. (the analogue to digital TV comparison is entirely different) But its also unfair to lay the blame squarely on CAPA, that's all I meant mate.
