:stupid:

& dishonest as well. Look at his answer! :bopp: What shall I reply?

Q. Can this be used to custom tune an FG XR6 turbo ute?

A. Yes, it holds five tunes and when it's full you can send it to the states to be cleared. Instructions are included.

I did same as turbo6fg and got the same answer. But since hiddeous has already reported I wont bother now. I figure after what he had been told by other members that if I asked a question about tuning and he said it could then he's being dishonest and misleading as he now knows.

I asked the original question just to lay the bait and he said it was all good and just plug and play

I am an owner of an XCAL1. when I purchased the item 3 years ago The manufacturer specified that it had a certain number of "lives", where it could be transferred to subsequent vehicles, as long as the previous vehicle was flashed back to stock.

The fact that the manufacturer has decided to discontinue this product contrary to the terms in the original purchase is very disturbing. I would not buy any XCAL item again on this basis. In fact, I presume that XCAL1 owners should be entitled to some sort of refund, as the terms and conditions of the purchase have been breached by the manufacturer.

yeah mate a lot of people in the same boat as you, me included. but I had to get a xcal3 as I wanted to change a few things on the car and needed a retune. massive thread in this section discussing them being turned off. One good thing is that in 2 weeks the xcal3 will be able to tune the ZF gearboxes
