It's not the switches mentioned above, but in the spring on the top left hand side of the cluttch lever beside the pivot. It clicks just before the pedal returns to the stop - the small spring comes back over centre and clicks the plastic mount. It can be felt it as it moves if you are a contortionist. It goes away if sprayed liberally with silicon oil, but does come back.Just poor design.Pain in the a## to fix, small problem and tedious job with no access. I have had no console, in my car and still not heard it. I would think it is something else other than the solenoid. The solenoid engages over 7km/h, so has nothing to do with the clutch pedal etc... If you get down there and have a look, its the spring and poor design. I tried silicon spray too with the same effect. After a while you get used to it anyways. Might need to experiment with a longer lasting grease or even graphite.
