Hey all!

So today I went down to my local ford dealer to meet a mate of mine who had an F6 and the GT335 lined up for me ready 2 test drive!

We first had a look at both vehicles and compared them side by side and swapped thoughts with one another! I absolutely love the look of the GT335! yes its similar to the F6, but Its that Bonnet and quad tip exhaust that had me smiling! as for the rims! in person they are 99% better than what you see in photos or magazines! They actually really suite the car! I viewed the black Gt with the dark gray 335 stripes looked awesome :) So we after comparing the looks on both cars we went inside to checkout what features they both had to offer! of course once again they were very similar inside! Both models were leather interior pretty much fully optioned! I really liked the suede mixed with leather in the GT.

So after messing around I finally took out the F6. im so use to the feeling of owning a turbo for the past 3 years it didn't really get me giggling when I stepped on the accelerator! but not to say it isn't a impressive machine! I mean that thing seriously pulls for standard! but I guess I was more excited to try out the GT and see how she went!

Sitting in the GT I hit the push to start button and WOW the crackle and pop of that exhaust system had me smiling already :D letting her warm up I took it out the show room and just for a nice easy drive around the dealership till I had a clear gap of road and my mate gave me the green light to give it a bit! stepping down on the gas WOW it goes! and the sound of the SC and Exhaust was enough to have me smiling not to mention the shear power this thing produces stock standard! I was impressed! BUT!!! compared to my tuned BA MKII with 330rwkws, I must admit u dont get that neck snapping/ been put back into your seat feeling as much due to the power already been there and not having to be built up! however looking at the Speedo sure as hell lets u know your Hauling ass as hard as tuned 6T!

So I guess everyone is different and to be honest I absolutely LOVE the GT! im still smiling after driving it! and I think its time for a change in life to go towards the SC8 and have a bit of fun! But I guess I have another 8months of waiting to finally make my decision till I purchase one :)

what have peoples thoughts been comparing the GT and F6?

If you have 8 more months until you need to buy, then the FG2's should be out by then.

I chose a V8 just for the exhaust note. Having a BAXR6T and BFF6, I knew turbos, so a change was a good thing. My car is up for lease in 10 months, so the FG2 GT-E will be top of my list to look at.

All out speed is one thing, but the noise of a V8 still makes me smile when I plant the foot. The F6E is faster, but just lacks the aurol excitement of my Boss 5.4 :msm:

GT335 will be my next car... You can't beat the sound of a charged 8 with a thumping exhaust...

Yeh my friend informed me today of fords MKII range coming out in the FG. There expecting them out later this year around Christmas! So I think ill be patient and wait and see what happens :)! I am in no rush to buy one and as they always say! Good things come to those who wait.... I absolutely love the GT I am still ragging onto my mates about it and I think I all for months to come :D! I do love the F6's and have a lot of respect for them but I think. Change is coming into my life and a SC 8 IS what's getting me excited

A little birdy told me that the series 2 FG FPVs won't have "The suspension from across the road" either. After driving one for a week that is the only thing that lets the GT 355 down in my opinion but it's nothing that replacing all the bushes and a good set of springs and Bilsteins won't fix.

Don't forget you can also flash tune and intercool the GT 355 as well and then you would have one hell of a car. The temptation to buy a 355 and put the R Spec on blocks is very strong, but I'm making myself wait for the series 2 GT.

LO you keep calling it 355 not 335 Rick! So, I take it you won't be indulging in Europeans after your test week?
