The whole cabin rattles from day 1.

I went back to ford so many times. I get soo annoyed because I payed $63,000 and It sounds 20 years old. I just play my music louder. I get the sh*ts everyday.

Where do your rattles come from ? Maybe we can sort something out then go see ford.

I have one in the drivers window when its fully down.

One behind my seat when Im on a bumpy road.

One on the left passenger seat where the seat belt is.

One in the front part of the Passenger side cabin.

That's all I've found so far.

Mine was rattle free and I used to mock those with inferior cars. :roflmbo: But... as soon as I hit 30thou it all went pear shape. :fool: Have a rattle in the dash behind the cluster north of 90kph, my splash guards all have washing up sponges behind them as they are all loose and my tailgate creaks at low speeds. Still at the end of the day im still happy with the car. :3gears:

These things are glorified taxi's, bear that in mind!

If yours is rattling early, its just bad luck. Ford might be able to fix one of the rattles, but they will probably break something in the process, and introduce another one...... Or scratch it!

my main rattle seems to come from behind me. somewhere around the rear speakers. But I cant be sure, very hard to pinpoint it! annoys the crap out of me, anytime someone gets in the car and I have aircon on they always comment "whats that noise" grrr so annoying. and I also seem to have a big squeak in the suspension at low speed when I hit bumps or the surface is a little un-even

FG sedan

Passenger dash spear. From new.

One somewhere behind the instruments..dash. @ 40,000

Steering shaft cover. @ 40,000 Also makes a plasticy grinding sound when turning the wheel.

Drivers door panel @ 40,000 It gets worse if you rest your elbow on the arm rest.

Drivers side front splash panel and side skirt. More of a flapping sound. Over 160 and it sounds like it's gunna snap off. @ 40,000

Drivers seat. @ 18,000

Drivers curtain air bag. Since new.

So yeah at 40,000 it really started to rattle and squeak in a few places.

Mines only a Ford and not an FPV. If I dropped 60K+ on a car and it did this I would not be happy Jan. If I bought a GT-E worth 80 and it rattled and squeeked after a years worth of driving. I would take it back. Right through their big front window.

Ford blames the Teins and their stiffness for all my woes. Bullshoite. When I have them @ 6/6 they are more compliant than the std choppy crap they have on them. Quality control....what quality control.

My VS Senator never rattled in the seven years I had it and I did not look after that car at all.

Sorry it does bug me as the package is there. It's a great car. Built like a KIA. Freeken hell even my work mates new off the wall has more paint on it and less orange peel then mine. No wonder FORDS rust so badly.
