For $165 I think they would just be running it up on the dyno to see if anything is wrong, no tuning involved. Full tune prices can vary from workshop to workshop.

And BigKeels, dont you need to buy a drycell battery to go into the boot, parts might cost around $100 + a few $$$'s for battery

Have any of you boys heard of moving the battery to another location in a ute, mines an 05 BA 300wrkw and a friend told me about cold air intakes, started looking and so I found this tread, and moving the batt seems to be the way to go(by what you guys are saying), except I dont want it in the cab with me, under the tray seems a better way, thoughts?

You can put it in the tray, or behind the front bumper. Or where the stock airbox is if you have oem/ hdi piping.

In the Tray :/ doesnt really sound like the best idea, in the bumper is yes an option but does that then make it very difficult to get at? yes I guess under the tray is difficult but then the weight is more cental to the overall body, thanks for the reply, how can I tell if I have OEM / HDI piping, I have an aftermaket intercooler and you can see the new piping but is that the sort of piping your talking about?

Mate I have the plazmaman airbox and have re-located the battery under the headlight.

It's a great idea. Process west sell them have a look on there website. I think by memory $450??

There is no extending wires or cutting involved.

It has a battery terminal that is connected inside the airbox that allows for a jumper start

Incase of a flat battery. hope this helps.
