Just wanted to share my experience after picking up my ute with 403rwkw from Mick at Pitlane Performance.

Purchased ute last october, euro 4 FG F6 winter white, auto. From there added various bits and pieces to enhance the driving and looks. At this stage discussed the performance requirements with Pitlane.

Outcome was to aim for mid to high 300's with quality supporting hardware. Prefer to go over with this rather than needing to upgrade or replace components in the future depending which path I may take.

Pre Christmas booked in for:

Xspurt injectors, after market piping (temporary measure) and a tune.

Pre tune 268, post 305rwkw. Just wanted to drive it with a few more kw while away on Holidays. Have been told by various people previously that these minimal increases are not noticable. Found quite the opposite and really enjoyed the improved driving experience.

Had already booked in for the new year for the next set of mods. Slight changes were made , ie went from Process West stage 2 intercooler to stage 3 (was being released the same week) so was happy to be a guinea pig for the cooler.

Following supplied and fitted:

Xspurt injectors

Process West Stage 3 intercooler

Process West surge tank

Process West cold air intake

turbo port

12 psi actuator upgrade

Atomic valve springs

SMB exhaust 4 inch

Also run caltex 98 for those interested.

Very happy with the results and the way the ute drives (this is the understatement of the year). Cannot believe the difference in performance and then get stuck in heavy traffic for an hour then potter around suburbia with what feels like a mild mannered car.

As you can see I rarely post but do enjoy reading about the experiences of others on the forum.

Will take some pics soon, Cheers

Pretty sure I saw this in there last year. White, lowered, and with a bar going behind the seats?

Awesome power, would love to see what it runs.

thanks guys. will definately run it down the 1/4 but while im expecting a good mph im not to sure on the time. Ute sits on coilovers and it sits pretty low in the rear. Have been advised not really the right set up for the drags as it wont squat. Im here for the experience and to learn so will give it a go.

More than likely visit Winton (some event is on) and Heathcote over Easter (inlaws are from up that way). Have had it at Sandown, stock, for the FPV day late last year and only recently at Sandown again for the John Bowe high performance day . (let us never speak of this day again, major failure).

Have never had an opportunity to experience something like this previously and am really enjoying it.

From recent feedback though I will definately follow the drag path for some fun.

will be visiting Heathcote very shortly to have some runs. Have picked up some 17inch rims at reasonable cost together with a new set of Mickey Thompson street radials as per everyones recommendation. Car looks similar to the gallery picks but I have had installed a triple gauge pod from Top End Audio with FPV logos which I am very happy with . Will grab some picks tomorrow.

Currently planning for the next step (engine out) which I hope to have underway over comming months but in the interim will have the auto tuned when im in for my service.
