It's the traction control working... When your car starts to lose traction... The engine cuts power... Hence feels like it's hitting the limiter...Turn off traction control and enjoy wheelspin... Just because it isnt wheelspin doesnt mean its not traction control doing it. Have you got standard wheels or is there anything else in the sensor/wheel area that has happen which might have affected the control units sense.
