Have just installed Philips 8 spot DRL's on my G6ET. They are road legal in Australia, dim down when parker lights and upwards come on. Photos do not do total justice.

They come on automatically however am in the process of using a manual overide switch to turn off when not required. The electrics with the unit will not allow for the lights to be on maximum output at night.

They are super bright in daylight.

2 photos were taken with the park light on (& flash went off) consequently the dimmer was working at this time as well.

W why do that to your car?

Is that a silk G6ET?

I think they car speaks for itself with out the need for the extra lighting, 10/10 for creativity though.

I just don`t think the ladies at my bowls club would appreciate it, as they are rather conservative.

I think it looks good. Would look better in real life, gives it a more euro look and sets it even more apart from the rest of the run of the mill cars.

Good work mate, stuff what the others think, it is your car. And I will do it to mine when possible, maybe not the same but the DRLs are definitely a g6et part!

I can certainly see the merit in having them, I always have my headlights on when highway-driving during the day for that very reason.

But the only thing is they clearly look like afterthoughts, if it could be integrated in to the bottom of the headlight then I'd say you're on to a winner...otherwise it just looks a bit

They look to aftermarket in the grill, there seems to be a gap below the fog lights that might just be big enough to fit LEDs in and might look a bit more OEM but yeah, not a fan of the placement.

Completely agree with tab, definitely a time and place for them. Would be nice to be more integrated thou.

Besides all that nice job doesnt look to bad imo.
