we could have put more boost into it to see the 375 - 380rwkw I had before on my race tune, I didnt want to push it too hard for a street tune as im driving it to heathcote in june for the drag nationals

Hey Boges... just noticed your signature... does that mean you have finished your "race tune" and have made 400+ ? Need to move up into the +400's club!!! :spoton:

It also has me thinking, and your probably a good guy to ask, your even getting 370 / 380 on pump fuel so what has changed over the years where going back a few people were throwing rods at 330 / 340 now quite a few are pushing well beyond this, with engines that would be showing higher k's too. Is it that more can be done in tuning, or is it the supporting mods that are better... just interested... :dontknow:

But well done mate... with that power and trans setup would be a fun drive!

Cheers

Richard

yes race tune finished. she made 400rwkw. 400.5@16psi

I reckon alot of it comes down to the tune. if you have a sh*t tune and it is pinging, then your engine will not last too long.

and of course aftermarket parts have come a long way since the early days.

good parts and a decent tune, your going to make the power and run the numbers everytime.
