I got mine put in n Friday... I have only got my full licence back on Saterday so I am dying to put them through their paces. So as you could well understand it is still a bit early to say what I really think of them...

They sre set at medium firmness and I must say that the car handles completely different.. It is alot stiffer than my King Sl's and I am sure that I can get a very comfortable ride from them.... But the performance gains will be phenomenal.

Just fitted a set too my car, have only done 100k's with them. but so far very impressed!

Ride is firmer than stock but more compliant with the damping cranked back too soft.

The improvement in straight line grips and braking is awesome :msm:

Below is a quote from a post of mine in WA chit chat, attached is a couple of pics showing the ride height i have set my car up at.

Did a bit of work to the blue barge today' date=' Picked up a set of Pedders Coilovers cheap cheap from the local store.

Bolted them in today, dropped the front aprox 20mm and the rear 30mm too get the car level with the Hugh Mungus rears m running.

Put 100k's on the and so far very impressed. The damping adjustment is 30point and the difference between fuel hard and soft is huge, front adjusters and easily accessed from te engine bay and fortunately I can reach the rears through my wheels.

The biggest improvements are in straight line grip and braking, the car stays dead straight on the gas and also on the brakes with no diving. Previously is was like dog with worms when accelerating and braking hard the front end was very squirelly and would dart off depending on depressions in the road etc.

Next weekend the diff cradle is coming out and its coping a set of Superpros blues all round. My diff mounting bushes are that bad that I can move the diff up and down by hand...... (some may have noticed the viscious banging when i was getting a bit enthusiastic on the cruise on friday night)

Unfortunately ran out of time too fit up the fuel rail but I think I need too buy a couple of fittings anyway

Anyways a couple of pics..... :icon_ford:

I must be the only person who fitted these and hated them, noisy as hell ,topped out over little holes etc,did handle ok but not worth the compromises, Tien for the extra bit of cash are in a total different class .

I removed the pedders gear and fitted tiens ss much better ride and handled better.

The way mine where Initally setup (especially the rear shocks) they would have topped out. I had too extend the shocks aprox 50mm too put them in the middle of there travel with the car @ resting hieght.

If they had been installed as per the way they where packaged I'd probably have the same opinion a you!

I was lucky too pick mine up very cheap. Too purchase Tien over the pedders I would have been spending only a couple of hung shy of double!

Fair enough, Everybody has there own tastes :) funnily enough the reports of extreme stiffness from the Tein SS put me off and you found the pedders too be worse! :dontknow:

My car is still running factory bushes so hopefully i dont suffer a similar experience as you once the superpros go in
