My missus was concerned about the xr6 with 330, but she got used to it pretty quickly.

The funniest part was when we parted with it we test drove a Non-T Territory Ghia, and I was amazed by how much power the old car had that I DIDN'T use. Anyhow I was ready to buy a Standard Territory Ghia, as I realy wasn'r concerned buy the lack of power as I only used it occasionally... Then the boss hopped in... as she rounded a corner to merge onto the highway just out of town she pushed the go-pedal and as we neared 100kph she said "nope, this things sh*t, we'll have to get a Turbo Ghia, it's got not power". So we have TTG, lol.

I'm away for a month plus at a time so I don't have much say in how much it gets used but my mrs thinks it's her new shopping car/weekend hoon car. Bedore she ever got to drive it I put the big street tune in and absolutly put the foot through the floor and of coarse she screamed to which I said it's not a toy (at least not for her lol) and this is what happens when your not careful, was the best thing I ever did she treats it with the respect it deserves/needs and I don't have any dramas any more with her driving plus I said if you break anything I'll spend twice as much as I need to fix it lol.

When it does go out she recons she gets funny looks especially from young fellas and just laughs when they try and line her up a the lights.

I came back one time and she was bragging about how some kid in wrx raced past her com in out of a roundabout and she gave it a little squirt past him. I told her if she gets done for honing and losses her license it will be hilarious. And qik1 my other half must be different to most cause I gave it a rather large bootful with her in it one day and all she said was " is that all I thought it would go faster than that". She wants to do burnouts in it and drive it at the strip now.

Mine gets to drive mine during snow season when I need her subbie to get up the mount. We are a young couple and being NZ not many young people have vehicles like that, she gets the funniest looks driving it. She's 22, drives it with respect thou as I have shown her what will happen when mistreated.

My missus drives my car a fair bit, mostly with me in the passenger seat or passed out legless in the back.

She's only driven it once or twice without me.

After I got it tuned and built she was a bit scared to give it a bit but after a few goes off the lights with a few ricers she's used to it now.

Hopefully she won't be driving it too much now, she'll be stepping into a brand spanking new XR5 Turbo so she will have her own bit of boosted fun :icon_ford:

Mine took to the big twin plate pretty quickly. She drives it better thru traffic than what some blokes would. Since the car show it is " her ute " now so il have to get something else to play with.
