Out west at work at the moment and there is a car show on. Fiancé spent the whole day cleaning the ute yesterday so she could go. She has entered it as a chicks car. I reckon it's great she is into it. Saves me cleaning it too as I'm too lazy. Sucks bein away but it is good that she has the motivation to get out and do this sort of stuff on her own. I even e mailed her all this stuff about it last night so she could have some info about it. I just would have parked the thing left the bonnet up and left it for the morning ha ha.

Do I let her drive my car? Mate it was the biggest mistake I ever made in my life! lol

Mate, the missus has completely fallen in love with the car and now she has gone from regular driving to driving it everyday and even transferring it under her name.

Not bad for a chicky to drive daily with over 400rwkw's?? She loves the adrenalin rush which I cannot complain about so as long as I keep on gettin my fair share its all schweeeet..... lol

I don't mind her driving my car, but since she broke it the last 2 times she's driven it I don't even get asked for the keys...

My missus is a confirmed petrol head...sitting here glued to TV watching the AGP as I type this....

Our first date...a go-kart race...that I won no less....

She had a nice Mustang....sold it to buy a Bronco so we could tow our newly bought dragster (at the time) to the races.

then used it as her daily driver....

Around the same era, I bought her a set of forged pistons for her birthday.....stoked can you believe it....

Drove me nuts wanting to have a go in the rail....so we got her a licence and because she as lighter than me, she ran the car to a PB at the time.

Held the strip record for ladies at the old Canberra dragway.

Initially, showed resistance to buing an XR6T because we'd only ever had V8's....talked her into trying it and after we modded it....rest is history.

Now she's talking about selling it and buying a Typhoon.....

I think Ive done pretty well really......:)

Drove it once before the tune and complained that the peddles are too close together so stood on the throttle instead of the brakes and nearly hit someone - nuff said. Actually no. Being a passenger in her car (XT Forester manual) is like someone running their finger nails down a chalk board. It just starts to make power then she grabs, actually slams another gear change and the whole drivetrain does a mexican wave, as she 'jumps' on and off the clutch. f*ck it's annoying. She's getting worse. Next car for her will be an auto - probably a prius :roflmbo: .
