Finally Arrived! Fpv Gt 335 In White!

Right.. the exhaust isn't bad.. and I think the only reason people would lean towards changing it is to support more power, not note. The sound is awesome, no doubt, but it's not as grunty as the HSV"s bi-modal exhaust, from what I've heard in person of both cars.

The GT sounds better, by a long shot. The supercharger whine just sends shivers down my spine, and it must sound good because people turn.. and that's without revving it too high!

I'll take a video of the sound when I get a chance.. been too busy driving it!

The rims do look small on the FG; and I'm not sure why FPV won't make genuine 20's.. Both the 18's for the XR series and 19's for the FPV's look too small for the body, but I guess it'll do until genuine 20's come afoot. The thing with these wheels is that they're not just "Ford" rims.. they're FPV.. and you gotta buy an FPV to get these genuine, unlike the lick-and-stick XR ones.. So I'll hold on to them for now

In terms of mods, at the moment, nothing planned.. but I can already tell the supercharger has more oomph.. when you give it a squirt, you can hear a fluttering sound from the engine bay, most likely releasing a lot of air since the PSI is so low.. However, being belt driven, I'm afraid that raising the boost could cause the belt to snap and cause damage.. Though, I do want an intercooler as I feel it'll keep safe any small forms of tuning in future..

Awesome car mate congrats! looks awesome in white it would definately be my choice too. Keep it how it is looks wise and maybe just a tune and intercooler setup. I think the wheels look great, everyone complained when ford/fpv kept giving us the same wheels and know they give us something new we complain?!?!?!

I must say all this talk about the New GT's becoming collectors items or appreciating in value makes me laugh....

Yep.. I doubt the GT 335's will be any more valuable then any other FPV.

I think this car looks wikid, rims are always dwarfed on fg's but I don't not like em.

I think a pristine original low kms gt or f6 will be worth more in 35 years. Can't see ford and Expensive Daewoo making cars like this forever and when they stop and go to all that gay hybrid sh*t the price of these will go up.

Nearly pissed myself laughing at work today when I noticed someone had punched a hole through one of our prius' hatch. Why? 'cause the whole panel is plastic (sorry composite) as are the doors etc. You can flex the whole door in and out like a drink bottle - it's a pisser! So yeah, can't wait for my plastic twin turbo 4cyl diesel falcon .

If ya locked the GT away and kept it pristine you might get ya money back - who really knows. That's the thing about collectables.

iva always thought..as do many im syre...that if a car looks good in white then not only will it look good in all colours but it is a well designed car

Must admit looks nice in white, saw a GS at my dealers in white and left me cold but the GT looks great.

Mate, do yourself a favour and get the Manta cat back system much better note, I have heard both and am getting the Manta system on mine (one more sleep and it's in me garage yippeee!!!)

It will be the longest sleep of your life Redhawk, or else it will be a sleepless night. I can't understand the bagging of the wheels, they look great in real life. I rang Don at Perth Exhaust to get some Quads for the R Spec and they have shut down, at least in Vic Park. It seems that the cheaper bolt on XForce's shut them down so I got some of them instead.

I'm chafing at the bit to get a 335 but I'm waiting for the series 2 as apparently there are going to be some nice surprises on it and in it, namely a bloody intercooler and some reasonable suspension. Jeremy Clarkson panned it in the media 2 weeks ago (wanker) . He basically said it ewas an average car that handled like a boat, was too plasticky inside, had a great engine but it all seemed rather pointless. I wonder how much the Dark Side slung him to say that as I drove the same car for a week that he had abused and all I could really be picky about was the suspension and the crap sound system, but 3k will fix the suspension and 2k will fix the sound.

Whatever way you go, nice car Arkayne and you need white for the NT heat. ENJOY
