I try the reset where you press accelerator while it cranks....BAM!well no bam, but BAM rough idle is GONE.... for how long I dont know... but seems factory err, not factory cos that was sh*t, but idle is nice and smooth with no occasional shudder or how ever you could explain it....INTERESTING no? I'm sure Mick will fix whatever it is. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/73979-rough-idle/#findComment-1092152 Share on other sites
FORDPSI Member 40 Member For: 14y 6m 22d Posted 27/03/11 03:47 AM Share Posted 27/03/11 03:47 AM The occasional rock or jolt will be the gap plugs. 550-600rpm is low for idle. Also spray some carb cleaner in your throttle body. But yer I'd get the idle raised.
