I might stick with my leather seats methinks. That steering wheel looks like its been wrapped with a hessian bag! Each to their own, but im not a fan. Might change my view when I see one in the flesh and actually sit in it..... hope so..

Some people have said that the current leather has a tendency to allow the driver to slip in the seat when cornering - looks like they've tried to do something about it but not sure they got it quite right in terms of appearance. I'll wait till I see it in the flesh but personally, I'm very happy with mine.

A friend of mine commented recently that my leather was too hard/stiff and not as soft/comfortable as the leather in another mate's new Monaro.

I really like the stiffness of the leather and I don't think the look of the new sports leather is going to sway my opinion. I think the current leather interior really finishes the car of well and adds a very classy look.

Hi All

I also saw this at the SMS...

If they had this option a few months ago I would have been tempted, cause the old red XR highlights & lettering on the original leather just didn't go with the citric paint!

The photo doesn't really show the seats at their best (IMHO)

Another concern that put me off the old leather was the "sheen" on it, and your ability to move around in the seat if you were driving hard - obviously this is not a concern for Ken! ;)

Take it from me - I don't think that this will be a problem with the new stuff! I really noticed the difference getting in/out of the car at the SMS, swinging 'round to get out the car you could definitely feel the leather holding on to you !
