Hey guys one of my mates just changed his cat on his car(XR6) to an X-plode 2.5" and put it back on the dyno and to his surprise picked up roughly 10rwkw.

Here is the dyno graph done at a workshop in Bayswater.

So if anyone is looking to change their cat they should take a look at them.

This is the second topic you have created on the X-Plode cat, both of which appear to be well written sales pitches. I am considering an X-Plode 3" cat however, I want to be sure that I am reading real material from our forum members with real results and not just a sales line. To ask the very rude question, do you have any vested interest in the company? I would feel much more comfortable if you had posted your dyno results in the other topic as another member had requested. See previous Topic here

I do apologise if I am out of line....

After reading the other thread it is obvious he is part of the company.

Why would anyone who wasnt involved answer all the questions and have extensive product knowledge of an exhaust company?

It's a cat convertor. No one cares that much.

Funny.. the AFR line is also leaner,

Was the power increase due to the cat or due to leaner afr's..

It also starts to Nose over earlier in the RPM compared to the original power curve..

Is the new cat restricting higher RPM horsepower flow?
