2Jl - understand your point. You hammered the clowns in the VE SS with your faster (and better) car - and well done.

But unless you drag every person in Aust at the lights, how is the rest of the population supposed to know that you aren't just driving a poverty-pack XT with fancy wheels? Sort of defeats the purpose of buying a G6 a little bit.

Just my 2c :beerchug:

Yeah, I think you are missing my point. I don't care what other people think of my car. I didn't modify it for their benefit, I did it for my benefit.......

Are people changing out the rear diff bushes for some aftermarket ones? Seems quite a few are being done under warranty from what I read in the Forums. Was wondering if this is still an issue with the later build dates. Thought Ford may be using a better quality bush on the production line now.

Or do you just do them say when you fit a LSD? Wouldn't add much in the overall cost of the job, just bushes and small amount of labour.

I've done 14,000 extreme km and had them checked and they are still ok by extreme I mean more than 50 passes down the 1/4 by this Friday, countless hours on the dyno and I'm on my 4-5th set of tyres now, they weren't all completely bald though

I had the diff out last week and left the factory bush in there, main thing is to have it re aligned though after dropping the subframe, mine drove fine but was miles out when I got it re aligned today, miles out... And if your going to have decent power don't bother wight he factory diff, get a true track, I just put in a 2nd hand factory LSD but they to be honest aren't that much better than the factory open wheeler, infect in a straight line I reckon the factory open wheeler performed better, I know that sounds crazy, but that's my opinion on how my car is,before and after

Hey guys I think that the colour makes the difference in whether to paint the front/back or not, I have silver because it all matches in very nicely, but blk or velvet ( my favorite colour ) I think that they need to be colour coded, it does look alot better when it all matches in, jmho. Wagman nice car I noticed you bought from denmac, me too, sorry to hear they have gone bust hey.
