Hey guys I think that the colour makes the difference in whether to paint the front/back or not, I have silver because it all matches in very nicely, but blk or velvet ( my favorite colour ) I think that they need to be colour coded, it does look alot better when it all matches in, jmho. Wagman nice car I noticed you bought from denmac, me too, sorry to hear they have gone bust hey.

Yeah I think I have to agree with this. I am about to pickup a G6ET in Seduce, and I think the chrome work suits it, but body colour would not. The darker colours certainly look pretty nice colour coded.

Lets be honest here fellas, how can you improve on this, apart from lowering it an inch or two? Hey? :dontknow: Please dont mention Grandpa! Im getting a complex. :crybaby:

Oh yeah, the Audi looks tough.

Looks ace mate. I have been looking to replace the chrome headlights on my G6ET with a pair with black inserts. I think this would set our cars off nicely. :) I also have a Plazmaman intake and battery relocation kit ready to be fitted soon. :)

Fellas your beasts look great. The thing is this is the internet and on a public forum you will hear a variety of opinions, whether positive or negative, but dont let them hinder your personal mods to your rides! :drinks:

First timer at this, but looking for advise on getting a better note from my G6ET also.

Would simply removing the rear muffler be adequate without having to spend big bucks?

im not into modifying the looks personally attracts attention from the police.

I did the cat dump pipe and tune and got 267rwkw with 11.5psi personally doesnt need any more power standard gets you into trouble lol

I think suspenion is a waste of money I mean if you want it to handle. there would be plenty other better choices.

agree with the sound system needs a upgrade though

overall the car is a nice package from standard

Got my Plazmaman intake and battery relocation, along side a stage 2 intercooler piping kit by Mark at Pitlane a few months ago who did an awesome job. Also got an Earls braided oil line and filter supplied and fitted while I was there

Few weeks back I picked up a GTE rear bar in the same colour so removed my stock bumper and tow bar and fitted it up nicely. Also replaced my tail lights with 50th ann lights. I wasn't overly fond of the chrome type ones

New FPV 19s will be going on soon and then some suspension work

Cheers TRA1NR, means alot coming from someone with such an awesome beast! I have only had it on the dyno while stock and made a healthy 238rwkw on Pitlane's dyno. Might be a little extra in it now with the turbo side intake and larger cooler piping. After Mark from Pitlane did the install, Mick had a little chat with me regarding the possibility of overboosting with the new setup causing the car to go into limp mode. It has been months following the installation now and all as been well.

The rear bumper is definitely a winner, I was stoked to find one in the exact same colour! Guy was selling it for his old man who had it replaced under insurance after a few scratches that are barely noticeable. It would certainly look 100% on your ride also mate.

I had the Earls filter supplied and fitted by Pitlane while I was booked in to get the intake and battery relocation fitted. I thought it was a worthwhile little safety mod to replace that standard oil line to the turbo. The ECU cover is a real carbon fibre one I picked up through eBay. There were a couple of options and thought the carbon fibre one would be a little bit different to what I usually come across.

Yeh man would love to have a cruise with you guys, I am usually on the highway Friday nights if the weather is clear. Forecast looks good for tomorrow so hope you decide to take your G6ET out, would be sweet to see it in the metal. Love seeing the G6ETs on the road, love the FG XR6Ts also but something nice about seeing your own car model being driven if you know what I mean :)

Little coincidence I noticed after reading your sig was that I am also wanting to get a JTG injection install from Pitlane sometime. The install Mick did on a FG F6 earlier this year was awesome, brilliant power and such a neat finish.

Here is a short video from our new camera in 5.1 audio on what it sounds like now. Hope you enjoy the sound as much as I do!

Thanks mate! It's not that awesome yet, its coming along though! Thanks for the comprehensive reply. Have you had any problems with overboosting? I'm not sure if I will be out this friday, the missus has me on a short leash coz I was out friday and saturday last weekend, until 3am both nights

If not you will have to come out another weekend, and definitely come on the meet and greet dinner on the 7th or 8th of december.

Looking forward to to seeing your car progress, once it gets rims and some low it will look complete!
