Hey guys just chucking all my parts together for a tune pretty much only missing exhaust off my list. Im only after about 300rwkw maybe a bit more so a big system wouldnt really be needed but I was thinking a 4" dump > 3.5" Hi-flo cat > 3.5" piping > Twin cannon style muffler at the back. Although im not a fan of the cannon look on the falcons no one can put down the sound of a cannon on a big 4.0L turbo! Beats the hell outta the ricers. Anyway im thinking this will give pretty awesome flow and a really nice deep loud exhaust note. Any thoughts?

Put a high flow cat on it mate it will get you 300 at the rears easily. I made 361RWKW with a high flow cat and the standard exhaust system.

Yeah I would just go the high flow but I want it to make some noise too + if I buy bigger its there already if I want bigger power. What other mods did you do to get up to 361rwkw?

Twin cannons would look like arse, and I bet the note that comes out of my twin 2.5" stainless system would sound better. Yours will also drone.

I have a 4" dump, hi flow cat and twin 2.5" with two mufflers. That plus injectors and replacement cooler I made 360rwkw....

Just a correcting on the above post it made 351rwkw not 361rwkw(typo)Not many mods mate its all in the tuning I spent alot of time on a mates dyno getting the tune right. I have Crow Valve springs, DEKAs, Wog Cooler, UBP, Surge tank. Still using the standard Xover pipe and airbox as well. Made that on 18psi but the auto died yet again.

I just bought a 4" dump pipe high 5"flow cat which im going to high flow myself :) with a 3.5 inch adapter which will bolt to the factory system all in mild steel for $650!! brand new. This will get rid of all the restriction. If your interested Ill take pictures and post them.

Yeah it does look pretty crappy seen it before just seemed to sound alright on start up! I'll probably end up going the 4" dump hi-flo to a cheap sport system, seems like that will more than do me for the power I'm after!

@ FORDPSI Yeah kinda scared about the auto going out on me, had gearbox sent over east (from WA) to get rebuilt put it back in about 13,000KMs ago so hoping it'll go alright! Also wouldn't mind seeing that system if you can post pics!

Looks pretty good! So that bolts directly to the factory cat back? And if you don't mind me asking, where'd you pick it up for $650? Might have to go the same way!
