Hey guys, done a fair bit of work on my 04 ba turbo. Probably looking at about 330 - 350 rwkw once I get the tune done but was thinkin of getting the trans rebuilt eg. Shift kit, and converter but not sure which one first?? Trans or tune??

Yeah thought so, I'm well aware of what can happen to these autos with that kind of power that's why I havnt got it tuned yet. Can anyone recommend a good trans builder in melb?? Iv herd that bayswater autos know what they're doing..

Obviously you havent read many of my posts regarding bayswater auto's lol.

Well we still have issues on my car but its still not determined if its an auto issue (built by them) or if its something else.

Shifting is done via the ecu tuning. Unless you are going to be doing a bit of 1/4 mile runing leave the stock converter it can handle the power, the auto on the other hand??

Stock autos have a converter? :stirthepot:

Read Icers posts. Bayswater are fine. There are others too Yarra valley do good work.

Also pick your tuner wiser, I mean wisely. As A bad tune can destroy an auto too.

I'm running a box from EVO down there. I got it freighted up to Sydney. Feels strong and I think their full modified rebuilds are about 3k with stall.

Did you buy the box from a bloke from this Forum?
