Is that fairly average? When do turbo/engine/suspension issues start popping up? My T had 100,000 and she was fine, but I'm just very interested to know. Thanks guys,Dan

Seem too be alot of failures in the 70k km to 100k km mark.Oh and get it mech checked for peace of mind.. 70k kms is bugger all really

It also has an 'in-house' report, but I don't know how much that is worth... Might just bite the bullet and get some braided turbo oil lines with one of those easy clean/replace filters. I think the brand is "Earls...?" Possibly get a sponor just to check turbo/engine function. I'm sure the RAC check will identify most of the other big issues.Yeah, I didn't think 70,000km's was that many for a 4 and a half year car. When you said there is a lot of failures between 70 and 100km's - Anything in particular? Thanks again,Dan

Well Hiddeous - Family mechanic - Really old school and has no idea what these cars are capable of... Been telling him for years how powerful the car was and the small amount of mods needed to get there. Was always told, "Why would ppl buy V8's and spend so much on them if your car can do the same...?" Seems they're not too clued up with performance turbos - More of an old school workshop.I think I'll pay Simon at Xtreme another visit if I get the car. Will be good insurance on top of the RAC check and the vehicle's dealer report. Thanks guys! If she drives and looks like a winner, she'll be the one. Photos and stuff soon!Dan

Gaurds may need some attention too. I know the car you are referring too and when I checked it out it was pretty bad, they may have already done it though. I'll see how it ends up going. I'm not going to pay the asking price, so if they are not prepared to budge, then they'll have to do a fair bit of respraying/replacing and such. Will probably go and check it out tomorrow then now. Thanks mate,Dan
