So the cars im looking at will be around 32 grand mark.wondering if anyones traded in there ba for an fg (or anything of similar value) what sort of cash difference they have paid??in my eyes my car is worth around the 18 grand mark so id like to pay around the 13 grand mark for an upgrade. but I assume a dealer will try for around 20.Any help appreciated, cheers. If it's a MkI, you'll probably only get around the $10-12K mark. If it's MkII then probably somewhere around $11-14K for trade in.If you sell it privately you'll be more likely to get closer to your $18K figure. Your never gonna get that from a dealer though. But it was probably realistically 13500 when you adjust it.

Decided to sell it privately for a heavily discounted price. I'd rather give a stranger a great deal on a car than have a dealer rip me off. Mods only devalue a car in the eyes of a dealer at tradin time.

Only problem is that if I sell it I need to buy a new car almost straight away and I dont like rushing into buying things.might have to look at financing the new car are paying a big chunk of the loan off after I sell the ba.
