it will occasionally be road going, I need to be able to keep it registered, as ill be driving it when my DD is off the road getting stuff done to it.

ive decided ill go 4" dump, no cat (but flanges just before and after so I can slot one in whenever), and only rear muffler, or just a resonator. and ill see how it goes from there

thanks for the responses

what difference would a hot dog make in comparison to a straight through pipe when replacing the centre muffler??

I have no center muffler but have kept the rear... It's quiet... Not even close to illegal... No hotdogs either. Straight through...

Hey worm do you have any in-car sound clips? There are plenty of clips of the camera right at the exhaust, but none from where the driver is going to hear it...

I thought most cat upgrades are illegal and therefor will fail a roadworthy? Can't have the best of both worlds.

Put on whatever exhaust you want and just keep your rego up to date...spoton.gif

Seriously... I have 280rwkw, 10psi... And a center muffler removed... Not really any different to stock inside car!

When you do the cat to a high flow it will become much louder though, as this Is quite a restriction...

I just bought a mild steel xforce catback so I can enjoy a little bit more of a beefier sound!!!

the decision has been made. Im going to remove both mufflers, and replace with a Resonator to tame the sound a bit ( I will play around with this part, see if I like it with or without), a 4" dump pipe and no cat.. should be good.

thanks for helping me decided guys, I appreciate every reply

LOL, enjoy gettin pulled over every 30 seconds.

Considering you can make 300ish on a pretty much stock exhaust, I'm not sure I understand the logic? Unless you just want your car to sound like a really loud tractor? dontknow.gif

12-15 psi, catless and no mufflers will be stupidly loud. Ask Jman... He had one muffler out and sports exhaust... Got EPA'd...

You are stupid to run no cat... $10,000 fine in most states...
