There are plenty of clips of the camera right at the exhaust, but none from where the driver is going to hear it... Can't have the best of both worlds.Put on whatever exhaust you want and just keep your rego up to date... I have 280rwkw, 10psi... And a center muffler removed... Not really any different to stock inside car! When you do the cat to a high flow it will become much louder though, as this Is quite a restriction...I just bought a mild steel xforce catback so I can enjoy a little bit more of a beefier sound!!! Jamsey Member 37 Member For: 14y 3m 29d Posted 10/03/11 06:54 AM Author Share Posted 10/03/11 06:54 AM the decision has been made. Im going to remove both mufflers, and replace with a Resonator to tame the sound a bit ( I will play around with this part, see if I like it with or without), a 4" dump pipe and no cat.. should be good. thanks for helping me decided guys, I appreciate every reply Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/73661-replacing-only-the-restrictive-parts-of-the-exhaust/page/2/#findComment-1087836 Share on other sites

Unless you just want your car to sound like a really loud tractor? Ask Jman... He had one muffler out and sports exhaust... Got EPA'd...You are stupid to run no cat... $10,000 fine in most states...
