Btr 4Speed To Zf 6 Speed Conversion

Alloy pans give case strength and some will aid slightly with cooling but nothing like a trans cooler.

Any 3 speed or glide will require extensive mods to be capable of handling the power these cars produce, standard they are weaker than the 4 speed.

already got a trans cooler on the ute never goes over bout 180 and when it gets to 180 I take it easy , so do you drive in 60 zones in 3rd ??

correct. 3rd has a overdrive on it so im sitting about 2000rpm

The trans builder told me so , so I stuck with it havnt had to rebuild it yet, whereas some others havnt lasted not half as long.

cheers mate I might leave it as is use all these tips and see how it goes , I guess a rebuild is cheaper than a conversion.
