gday just brought a 04 ba mk2 ute with 4 speed auto.

my question is how much power and torque can the 4 speed auto handle before I need to start thinking rebuild or t56 conversion.

could anyone recomend a gearbox , im not fussed on either auto or manual, what have people on this site replaced the 4 speed auto with, it will need to handle around 350kw.

I think the guy just wants an honest answer, not EVERYBODY wants BIG POWER NUMBERS or POWERGLIDE attached to the cars they drive to work everyday

If you did then why not just get yourself a bentley, use the backseat as a bed on more adventurous outings :icon_ford:

My car has over 350kw @ the engine... Had it like that for a year... No problems at all. Big PWR transcooler and regular services... And a great tune from Mick @ PitLane... He spends hours getting all 3 setups correct in the auto (drive, performance and manual shifting...) :spoton:
