Hi mick A

Mate hope you had fun last night. I have the exact same car as yours and when it was stock I ran 13.87 but forget the mph now. I believe it sound right, however I have seen a few different result out of the stock FG XR6T Manuals. Some as low as 12.7 somthing from a guy on here named Rusty and some who run 14s.

Hope that may of helped?

Thanks

There was a stock xr6t auto that ran 12.89. But that's a pretty good time in a manual. Did you do anything special? What did you dump it at?

I was going to come out this week, but couldnt be bothered... We should be out there next week.

its always going to be a little harder for traction in the ute, mine is a manual also and I managed a 12.89 with a 1.9 60ft but in a sedan.

On your gear changes keep your accelerator to the floor and clutch in a little, not all the way and rip the gear in... dont worry from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd you have triple synchros so the gear will go in smoothly!

hey,

didnt do anythn real special just launched at about 3300-3500rpm, its unuf so it didnt bogg down but didnt wheel spin to much either..

I was flat changing earlier in the night but from 1st to 2nd it just kept frying the tyres so I went abit easier with that gear change and ended up hooking up alot better in second and running alot quicker.. no problems with flat changing 3rd all good there... probably wont be there this wensday but maybe in another month or so as I live on the central coast..
