Regading the zorst - you're still thinking like a V8 Expensive Daewoo owner (fair enough). Catback is useless unless it's noise you're after. If you want to do anything, do a dump and cat upgrade but you'll need a tune to go with that. SS inductions are a new sponsor so I won't comment on the Growler. Most, myself included, run the XR8 lower air box and snorkle (look for threads on this). With a K&N filter or similar, you'll gain about 10rwkw with snappier throttle. It will cost you around $250 and looks completely stock. In all honesty, best bang for buck is a tune. You'll pick up around 40rwkw which gives you around the same peformance as a stock F6 and set you back between $1300 - $1600. Cheers, Bomber. That's some decent power.Bomber has the right idea. A dump and cat is plenty enough if you don't want to change to a larger turbo. It will be quite a bit louder at full throttle with this mod. If you can manage $5k spend on the car then you should be able to get fairly close to the power you had in the R8. Benny

The good thing about buying an Xcal (and doing a tune) is you'll use it later when you do the mods listed. Also, no visible changes have been made to the car. You'll only be up for around $500 for a retune once you've put the other gear on so not pissing too much away. So IMO, forget the catback for now and just do a tune. You'll get around 260 - 275rwkw with more torque than the R8 and return around 8.5 - 9.0 on a trip Edited 03/03/11 08:27 AM by RHR No need to quote above post. A mate has done the whole mafless, OTR, Expensive Daewoo thinghy with cam and full x-force zorst ( 6.2L donk) and he's making 318rwkw on 98. Those mods cost him thousands - he he. He's already pissed that mine's making 270 with a $1300 tune. Told him I was doing the cooler soon - now he's looking at a blower mod Edited 03/03/11 08:27 AM by RHR No need to quote above post.
