Then get a Custom tune asap. Throw in some injectors and Valve springs and you'll see over 300rwkw. With a Generic tune you will probably make 220rwkw for a weeks thenitll all go pear shaped. Intakes, injectors, exhaust etc...The ECU needs to be re-adjusted by a proper tuner. He will dyno the car and make the necessary adjustments to your car (Otherwise known as the custom tune)You need the XCAL for storing and transferring between tunes. You will need a tune asap so drive her really gentle and keep her off boost. The less you driver her the better...Hope that has helped mate Good luck

Theres lots of horror stories floating around from generic tunes. Not so many these days as most people steer clear. Poor tune = damage to motor. At the moment your probably overboosting, is it going into limp mode? Do you have an engine light on?

Jeckyl Member 6 Member For: 14y 1m 7d Posted 28/02/11 06:49 AM Author Share Posted 28/02/11 06:49 AM gearbox standard 4spd..No engine light of anykind...the first time it overboosted the engine got it self into a spasm.... so I shut it off and let her sit for a minute.....once I hit the key it started up fine and drove normal with out any engine warning light..cheers

You may then look into Intercooler/piping options - It really depends on what power you want, how much you have to spend and how reliable you want it to be.The 4 speed are a good box but do be prepared to have it rebuilt/strengthened if you run big power and/or if you are a very 'spirited' driver. A trans cooler is also very good insurance for your transmission.Sorry if this post is a little 'to the point' with upgrades and dramas, but it's happened to a number of T owners and it's better that you know now Cheers mate, let us know how you do,Dan
