Car was at my tuners today and discussed injectors. They do use decas and yes, idle them up a bit - 700rpm. Any lower and they get 'fluffy' and can stall the car. I'd be taking it back to your tuner mate and get them to check it and if it is idling lower than 700rpm, tell them to bump it.

had perfect idle befor tune.. now after tune its rough on cold start up even after that closed loop thing has kicked in after 30 seconds to a minute, if I tap the go pedal gently during the first minute it bogs down and feels like it wnts to stall.

hot start up isn't as bad, still fluctuates a bit when stopped at lights and at times can get fairly rough almost like iv'e got a mild cam - (without thermo fans on or a/c or anything else I can think of that would cause the revs to change characteristics)

also after a 20 min drive to the shops and back, and three minutes of 20kmph crawling down a dirt road to get to a mates place (trying to keep the dust factor to a minimum) I drive down his driveway, change the zf from D to R to park it, the car stalls..

somehow these symptoms dont feel very right to me, I dont like the stall that happened but its only happened once so far, the idle needs attention though.. maybe minor tweaking, im not sure????

I know what your saying mate, but just not sure if that would be like putting a bandaid on a broken leg, when maybe there could be other adjustments to fix it properly..

also im running hi flo stock injectors - mainly due to hearing about rough idle issues with the deccas ( thinking that the stock ones wouldnt cause that problem?! ) even though I wanted to go for decas in the first place so I could keep the oem ones to return the car back to stock if need be..

what to do what to do??? :dontknow:

yeah, something not right. Don't know who did them mate but hope they haven't screwed them to a point they cant be fixed. I'm going to run F6 injectors in mine when I do the cooler swap given I'm not chasing big power. Currently the stockers are running at 90% with my current tune - 270rwkw. I wouldn't wear the stalling thing - not even a fluffy idle. Take it back.

Steve, 968's are a twin spray

Oops, meant 968's of course...thanks Brendan! I have a feeling I knew that when I decided to go the Bosch instead of dekas, but now I'm all tuned and happy it's out of mind.

Hope you get the idling sorted kris. Good idea to have it looked at properly and find out if there's a deeper issue.

Kris, IH8TOADS was the member who helped me diagnose my tune before and found it to be very poor. Same symptoms rough idle, rpm dips, stalling etc. Definately worth logging your car and let him have a look for ya! IH8TOADS gets my thumbs up for helpfulness!

who did the injectors for you? I'm running hiflow stockies myself with no issues. I would be going back to the place that worked on your car ASAP.
