Factory Rims And Brembos

Hi All,

I only have the factory fitted 18" rims (see below)...they are in perfect condition so I don't intend

to replace them...am I able to fit larger brakes?...I.e. Brembos...any advice?

Brembos won't fit. Not sure about other brands.

No chance with Brembos. 4 pot AP's are slightly smaller but I doubt they fit under those wheels too. If it's just for street use, have you considered just some slotted dba4000 rotors and a pad upgrade. Fine for street use.

Thank you for your replies.

The vehicle will only be used for occasional "spirited" driving and possibly during some Mallala track days.

I had considered sticking with the existing brake setup...however just looking at what other options where available.

What improvements can I expect by replacing the rotors (DBA4000)...pads (any recommendations?)...brake lines...and

quality brake fluid?

Has anyone powder coated callipers before?...any advice?...what did it cost?

Pads will make a massive difference, fluid too if your going to track it. Discs.. There are some benefit but not as much as some will have you believe.
