I know what you mean, look in nooks and crannies and there's rust in there (open door and inspect body, boot areas...).

Will be a royal PITA in 15 years when I need to get it fixed up!

A stock BA xr6 turbo 4 speed auto isnt much faster than an NA BF with a 6 speed auto! the zf auto makes a huge difference in performance and economy when comparing stock cars. If you dont plan on modifying, get the later model NA with a 6 speed and enjoy the economy and reliability!

Are you guys serious, you don't use a garage, never had a problem with my BA , maybe the previous owner gave it some rust treatment

Hardly sits in the garage for long. Sees 500km a week - daily driver/work car :)

The boot rust issue has a thread on here I'm pretty sure, very common.

I think it all depends on how its look after take my FG service ever 7500km car has about 74000km on it now and this is the work it had done

10 oil filters

70lts of Nunlon oil

45 spark plugs

7 fuel filters

1 KN air fiter service every 7500km

1 gearbox oil change

3 diff oil changes

about 5 sets of tyres ( we replace them when they are at about 50%)

cootant change x2

brake fluid change x 2

and I've not included thing like brakes clutch and the power upgrade

so when we go to trade up I think the next buyer of this car will be getting a good car
