Hoping for a quick reply.. I'm in the process of replacing the intercooler pipes and am stuck at the small bend under the headlight. How the hell does it come out? It has two screws to lock it in place, undid those and its free but it doesn't seem to want to pull through or push in so it's just stuck there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any hints or ideas? does it go in or out? Was going to cut it but thought better not..

Too hard. Spoke to Alex @plazmaman and he siad I'd have to cut the hole to fit the new pipes anyway, since I'm not able to do that at home the whole kit will get fitted by someone else (not me!)

Take out your headlight champ.

I hate to state the obvious but if we put it in there you can sure as hell take it out again. That pipe is fitted before headlights.

Plus that's how I got the same bloody annoying little f*** of a pipe out when I was doing my piping.

For the 2 mins it takes to get the headlight out does it matter?

No, you're right. I had just read somewhere that once loose you can get the pipe out/in. For some that might be a bit 'accident prone' maybe safer to leave the h/light in. Whatever works.

Very true!

I just figured that anyone that had managed to get that far (ie. bumper off) would be competent enough to go a little further. I always use the mentality that there is a way to disassemble everything.

Anything can be disassembled by anyone ( a monkey with a hammer) skill is only involved in reassembling.

Knew I'd seen it somewhere. PWR have and 'step by step' guide (with photos) you can download. It's for their replacement pipe kit. Very well done and even tells you the tools you'll need. I've printed one off ready for my conversion. It confirms that you don't need to fully remove the headlights.
