Great starting price though I don't think the headers will fit as the Boss 260 has twin cam heads whereas the XT has the SOHC Triton engine.

Still, the system could always be modified by a good exhaust shop.

I think you'll find it a close fit .... but why would you want an XR8 exhaust?

True, have you thought about just a cat back 2.5" system.....even that would be an improvement.

Better still, go the full hogg, get some headers, hi flow cat/muffler and have the lovely's meeting at the rear with some nice fat chrome tips of doom. :smilielol:

I have a full cat back BA XR8 exhaust at home, the centre muffler section is exactly the same as a turbo's!

According to my part listings, the XR8 exhaust and a normal 5.4 have different systems. that's not to say a bit of creativity it wouldnt go though!!!!

;) Perth exhaust centre will fit a twin 2.5 with stainless centre muffler from the cat back for $550, I've had nothing but expensive power loss dramas since I chopped out the factory muffler in place of nothing, then tried 2 X 9inch hotdogs, another noisy waste of money, went for the new Xr8 setup and still no improvement, $750 later, leave well enough alone I reckon if it ain't broke don't try and fix it. Something has robbed about 20kW after exhaust play and fitting cold air induction + K & N filter. Might give it away for a GT-P, I'm too old to have these sleepless nights anymore.

Be very careful when you want to muck with the exhaust.
