it will go thought the senate after july 1 because bob brown and the greens will have to controling votes in the senate then.

We are stuffed totally now and the onlyy way to stop it is to protest strongly and back the pm back down to do this we need to put pressure on her.

And the best way is to unite as one and as a country take her head on.

There is plans for a march in canberra in march so lets all go and show her how we feel.

Has to make it out of the house of reps first so I don't believe its a done deal. We aren't totally stuffed the sun is not going to fall out of the sky because we get taxed more, do I like it? well its a redundant question really noone likes tax of any kind, whilst a march is a lovely sentiment it will change nothing, if your local mp is Labor voice strongly your opinion without swearing or making derogatory remarks about the PM, that type of correspondence wouldn't even make it past the secretary. If your local Mp is a lib well your preaching to the choir really so not much you can do.

Give her enough rope & she'll hang herself & her dickheaded cronies labor will be voted out for aother decade.

Pity Abbott doesn't make Malcolm Turdball treasurer. He's a bit of a tool but knows how to manage/make money better then most people.

Libs lost a lot of power in the house of reps when Costello left. Labor were all scared of him because he made them look like such tools whenever they tried to put out one of their bullsh*t policies. When it comes to the $$ Turnbull is the same.

Theres no guarantee it will, as I said lobby your local MP and the Independents, if it does end up going through theyll most likely be voted out assuming the coalition make a core promise to axe it upon victory.

and ...... do you actually know what your talking about :sleepystuff:

Id like to think I do at least, thing is your regular populace aren't concerned with the happenings of politics, vote the way mum and dad do/did and wouldn't know a policy unless the opposition ran an ad campaign. In saying that Labor ran the whole great big new tax campaign against the GST but still lost, in the end the world kept spinning and people got on with it, I remember it was supposed to kill small business because of all the extra paperworks required, well they're still kicking aren't they? Personally im against bringing a price on carbon in as I don't see the benefit but the hysteria out there is almost as ridiculous as the whole stop the boats line.

Should do a 'politics' sticky thread in off topic, then all the rants/arguments can go there & we can look back in 10yrs time & see who's full o' sh*te & who's not.

It's quite troubling though that over 1 million people would vote for the greens. :bad: It's just meant half a vote for Joolya anyway & a whole lot of half arsed compromised ideas. Throw in some independants who don't know what they are doing & if we are trying to get anywhere in this country we are pushing :pooh: up a hill with the pointiest stick in history.

Early election please. :buttrock:
