Valve body was not modified. Line pressures in the tune had been modified for the stock box and with the new box, line pressures were increased. It began to take off in second 30%-40% of the time. I think the combination of increased line pressure in the tune and s5 was causing it to take off in second. Slight turn down of the S5 pretty much fixed it for me. My box shifts firmer in tippy than in D as line pressures in tune are higher in tippy. So when I'm playing, I only play in tippy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the very odd occasion, it will still take off in second.Hi straughsberry, my transmission builder turned down the line presures back to standard an we still had the same out come,right now im thinking to replace my tps sensor, voltage sensor, to see if it may make a difference, as this is known to happen when a voltage sensor is faulty, acording to my workshop manual. CCCC miso xr6 Donating Members 317 Member For: 15y 11m 25d Posted 25/02/11 01:08 PM Author Share Posted 25/02/11 01:08 PM Hi mate, yea iv all ready tryed with the xcal, an it didnt record any faults, then an other bloke used his scanner an the only thing it recorded was seatbelts, it looks like its going to be a pain in the ass now for me trying to solve this drama,I might get a tuner to adjust the line pressures on the computer lower to see if that can make a change.I dont understand why but it gets all gears while I use the tip control, but soon as I push it in drive,it takes off in second.
