We love ours. Had it for 6 months and done 17000ks in it, no issues so far. Averages 8.3l/100km. No towbar as yet.

It's a bit more complicated a box than the ZF. Not as reliable. I am out of pic allowance or I would post up one on the bench in bits.

They will have to retrain a lot of techs on this one so, I can only assume that the zf is too dear now and on it's way out of the Ford line up.

I bagged the crap out of the Terry when it first came out. Ee have a Disco 4 in the fmily and I loved it.

it's now about eighteen months old...the Disco. Been at the disco repair shop for the last month and no sign of gettiing it back. It was brilliant for twelve months. The list of things that have gone wrong with it in the last 6 months is rediculous.

. The thing has gone into " Lock down get home mode"... even a replacement ecu will not fix it. ???? WTF

.The rear door almost fell off.

. The sunroof almost fell in the car.

. The blutooth wont work.

. It wont hook up the ipod.

It was fine till the old man did a trip up north in it. He took it bush and it did not like it at all. When it goes and everything is working. Like when it was brand new it was a fantastic car. But in the last 6 months it has imploded. Nor good for a 120k car

I think they r great we have got the diesel titanium . Nice to drive. Power is reasonable . N the DVD player keeps the kids quiet lol

Never ever had gearbox probs in a terry with 6r80 its mostly icc dramas we have but theres a major firmware update about to be available that should fix most issues
