Depending on your rims offset 255 might go on but it will be close with the upper control arm. 265 will get you into trouble with the law and insurance companies. The rims I am looking at are 8.5" wide and have a +33 offset vs the +36.5 Ford offset. According to my calculations I will have 3mm less inner clearance and 9mm less outer clearance. I thought the 255 might sit a bit more square on a 8.5" rim.Now to find some decent prices locally. I cant believe how skinny 245 looks in comparison....I think the offset plays a big part asi still have more room on the inside and I am confident a 295 would fit but I would want a 9.5 or 10 inch rim for that.
