Apparently the biggest killers are bouncing the car off the limiter or raising the rev limit too high (over 7000) where it just gets too much & they fly to bits. In saying all that though, everytime do a burnout and get near the limiter I am constantly thinking about the gears and my eyes are pretty much glued to the oil pressure guage!

A soft cut limiter will help and having it set slghtly lower. If ya worried spend the thousand odd dollars and get a complete unit from atomic which has a high flowed housing which will aid in limiting the chanses if breaking in the future.Mine saw over 400kw STD with massive burnouts down the track and the occasional limiter bounce so don't stress too much, was an auto though
