He knows the cars back to front and runs what he thinks is safe. According to Jim the car did it easily, with never a sign of strain on the motor and its well within its limits. The street tune vs the race tune has more mechanical protection built in (timing etc). The 10psi tune has very little timing on it I beleive and makes very little torque, however still has a high peak power figure late in the rev range. To be honest, power figures dont phase me that much, its more about the MPH at the end of the strip, depending on weather, I'll be runing it on wednesday night. Also the turbo is stock, hence why the boost tapers off... I wouldn't have thought that 6psi less only would've netted a minor loss but obviously the tuner knows what he's doing Good job, enjoy it.

I wouldn't have thought that 6psi less only would've netted a minor loss but obviously the tuner knows what he's doing Good job, enjoy it.I think it only comes down to about 3psi at peak power, as 10 will hold steady, yet without a new actuator it wont hold the 18psi it creates the peak torque with earlier in the rev range. So at 361rwkw there is 3psi difference compared to the 10psi at 345rwkw.Yet looking at the torque of the low power tune it is very evident that its only at 10psi as it has less torque than the generic tune shown there. Cool night in fourth gear, slliiippppp....Going to go with a CI twin plate, with a higher clamp load pressure plate - 1500kg IIRC. Recommended by tunehouse, apparently good for over 400kw, also cheaper than the MW alternatives.

I'd just be keeping the boost down.

So no reason for it to happen before I owned it.

Raped it at powercruise and nearly every day of its life. Only let go last week cause the timing chain jumped 6 teeth.....

One of the ones that's a bitch to drive until you get used to it. Came with a billet concentric slave as well. Was awesome. Sit on 80, hit a long sweeping corner, clutch it in 3rd off limiter and it gripped straight up and spat the ass out. Never slipped for me even with MT's on. Old mate was launching it at 4500rpm and it just bit down. Not even expensive either, bout $800 I think all up? + fitting and machining of flywheel.
