The ones you have may already have this, but that is what I have read.I have LEDs on my number plate light. They look good.

I read the post, got distracted then wrote my reply. You are right re brake versus indicators. You need it for the indicators for the flasher to heat up sufficient. Brakes are different.Well picked up Forddriver1.Apologies Spoolax.

When one of ya indicator globs go, it will flash really quickly showing theres not a closed circuit and the same thing happens. Its easy enough to get around. Jaycar sell whatever it is you need and it isnt expensive.Do a search and I'm sure you will find the post on here somwhere. I was looking into it but just havent had the time to move forward with it.I know Rusty_xr6 bought some LEDs for the lower driving lights. No ectra wiring needed, just plug straight in. He got them off ebay. But indicators are a different story.

I know because I tried it many years ago. I figure it was not worthwhile putting a resistor into the circuit as I did not want to have issues with heat and globe failure in the future. These cars seem to require the draw of the globes for other systems to work. You can try it for yourselves, as you will find the ABS light comes on and you cannot engage CC.
