Hi boys,

I managed to stuff one of my tyres today and need to get a couple of replacements.

Just wondering if anyone has tried both of these tyres on the same car and what they would choose.

The G6ET is not driven too hard (unless I'm running late for bowls), but do a lot of highway speeds.

any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Pete

The KU31's should come in at about 20% less than the Falkens.

KU's are quiter for mine. The Falkens have more grip. Not much more though. Probably just a bit more turn in.

Both are a good tyre for the big Falcon. If they are the same price or even very close take the Falkens. If not you wont be dissapointed either way.

ps I have the k31's

I've had falken and kuhmo... Both great value for money... Falcon come in 2 treads... ZE912 or 452... 452 better grip but a bit more road noise...

Similarly, kuhmo come in ku31 and ku19... Ku19 is a softer tyre, which lasts less time, but grips better and the pattern is quieter...

Value for $$$.. You can't beat KU31's... What area are you in? If in south east Vic... Tyresplus is great for low $$$ and awesome service... Much much much better than motorsport wheels and Tyres or the tyre factory...

For instance... Achilles ATR sport 245/30/20...

MSWT $225

TTF $225

Bob Jane $185

Tyresplus $168...

Falken ZE 912 245/40/18

MSWT $300

TTF $250

Bob Jane $270

Tyresplus $230

And the service sh*ts on all of them!!!

Pete
