Hey guys,

I have a BA XR6T with a parnell lpg system, I have done the following

bigger cooler

Crow valve springs

Walboro fp

Deka 60

ngk .7mm copper

I got a cutom tune done and only got 268rwkw on petrol, he thinks there is some exhaust flow issues and reccomends a dump with seperate wastegate port.

Is this a logical step?

the lpg guy has problems matching the lpg flow rate of the 60lb injectors, I have seen people using the bosh 36lb on lpg cars as they are a cloer match to standard? what sort of power can these make ? im guessing the 42lb are also too big?

This xforce one seems better?

cheers guys

Bash the cat, leave the whole system as stock, and spend the money saved getting your wastegate ported and a 15psi actuator.

The exhaust will be fine until 310+kw, even then minimal changes such as a dump will yield huge results.

Tune it on lpg... Not petrol...

How big's the mixer?

My car has very close to 300... On lpg (liquid injection though)... Cooler upgrade... But stock cat...

No idea who tunes in Adelaide.

My old BA XR6T had 350rwkw on lpg... It produces more power then petrol as it's 100+ Ron... And up to 110 RON for 100% propane...

My tune was on standard gas (50/50) of butane and propane... But when I put 110 in it, you could feel the difference...

Gram per Gram LPG acutally produces less power and has a lower calorific value than Petrol. (ie 1 gram contains less energy than 1gram of good ol Pedarol)

Its harder to burn (hence the 100Ron rating) so it can take more squeeze before it goes back, which also means it loves timing advice.

E85 is much the same, cept it also self oxygenates...MMMMMM Oxygen
